NUTCRACKER ROUTE IN CANDELARIO
On 20th of October, I did the Nutcracker Route with some friends. It was in Candelario. I woke up at 05:00, later, at 06:00 the father of my friend and my friend, came to my home and they took me to Candelario. There were a lot of of unknown people, all of them had climbing staffs, so my friend and I picked up two sticks from the floor. First the route was across a flat area, but in thirty minutes, we started to go to the top of a mountain. The area was uphill, so all the people were so tired, also my friend and I. In a ocassion, a friend of my friend's father gave me a glucose pill because I was over-tired, and he said me the pill will bring me energy to continue the route. Also, in a part of the route, I stopped breathing , but I continued because of my pride. My friend surrended at the half of the route, and a car took him to the end. Finally, I could finish the route, it was seven hours and 24 kilometres without stop walking. In Candelario, the mayor brought to the winners the prizes and we ate the typical Candelario's "cocido". Also, the mayor gave us the congratulations, and he invited us to participate next year. I couldn't do sport during five days because of the big stiff I had.
